The largest vertical farming operation in the United States is pioneering advanced indoor farming techniques, leveraging technology to optimize crop growth and resource efficiency, to provide pesticide-free produce to the market.

Initially, this organization* partnered with FLEXSPACE to install its complex IT and low-voltage infrastructure to integrate with its proprietary operating system, custom AS/RS, and numerous other electromechanical components involved in the vertical farming process.  As the project progressed, FLEXSPACE’s scope of work expanded to include design collaboration to leverage the organization’s vision with FLEXSPACE’s ability to interweave systems in a constructable, scalable fashion with the end goal of optimizing food yield through automation. FLEXSPACE was able to contribute to that mission across three, 140,000+ square foot, full-scale production farms incorporating thousands of lights, fans, irrigation valves, cameras, sensors, and structured cable connections.
