FIRST ANNUAL SPRING FLEX DAY IS IN THE BOOKS

The first annual Spring FLEX Day is in the books and what a great day it was. Our entire team exchanged a day in the field (or behind the desk) for a day in Charleston to give back, have fun, and say “hi” to each other in person.

“It’s vitally important for us as a team to have a day where we come together to support our community, connect as an organization, and reinforce our unique culture,” said Todd Jessup, president of FLEXSPACE.

Our day started with fueling up at the office, a few photo shoots, and away we went to Lowcountry Orphan Relief (LOR). LOR provides a vital need for children who are at-risk or suffering from abandonment, abuse, and/or neglect. We spent the day inspecting, organizing, performing yard work – you name it, we were happy to pitch in and help LOR’s small but mighty team provide love, necessities, and support to children in need.

A surprise to our FLEX team, and LOR, was the donation of $16,000 to LOR to help continue their vital mission.

“We value selflessness, humility, and being others centric as an organization at work and in our community. Supporting LOR in their mission critical work is an obligation we are only too happy to uphold,” continued Todd.

After our morning at LOR, we headed to a downtown Charleston patio for lunch, laughs, and lounging. For many of our out-of- towners, they needed to dust off the old sunglasses and roll up their sleeves to enjoy a picture-perfect spring day in Charleston.

Our operations team concluded the event by FLEXing their competitiveness at friendly game of paintball. We proud to report that besides a few welts and bruises –all team members were present and accounted for and shook hands.
